Pathway to Heaven

In this sky blue valley,
while a sweet little girl was awaiting You
to give way to a great mystery,
You came down, little Jesus.

Illuminated was the valley in an instant
of light, the colour of paradise.
To that little girl, covered with splendour,
the immense gift You gave of Your love.

Way of heaven, eternal joy,
The sweetest name are only You.
Baby Jesus, divine love,
May I find repose in You!
You are peace, You are love.

The glance to You ravished in joy,
her hands held out to You;
she wanted to kiss Your joyful eyes,
but in vain: all disappeared.

Remained for us the blessed land;
And that ever waiting heart.
Until that day You came back with Mary,
and with Michael: great is Your love.
