the Victims and Families of the Suicide Bombing
at the Islamabad Mosque”

The Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem strongly condemns the despicable terrorist attack carried out today against defenceless civilians gathered in prayer at a mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Church offers Her deepest condolences and extends Her spiritual closeness and prayers to the numerous victims and their families.

Once again, the Church proclaims the sacredness of life and God’s commandment: “Thou shalt not kill”.

Everyone has the right to profess their religious faith, provided they respect others. Those who kill their neighbour, driven by alleged religious motives, are not of God.
