“Condolences and Prayer for
yet another massacre of Christians in Nigeria”

The Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem expresses Her profound grief and firmest condemnation as the blood of brothers in Christ continues to be shed in Nigeria. The Church offers Her heartfelt prayer for the victims of the heinous slaughter that took place on 5 February in the village of Doma, Katsina State, which witnessed a brutal attack on the local Christian community.

This tragedy comes in the wake of attacks on 1 and 3 February in the Chanchanji district of Taraba State, where Christian communities were once again subjected to unspeakable ferocity, claiming the lives of countless victims, including Pastor Doose Mbathembe.

The Church extends an embrace of love and spiritual closeness to the families of the victims, the survivors, and all those living in terror and persecution for the sake of Christ’s name.
