“Prayer and condolences for Christians
killed and abducted in Nigeria”

The Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem has expressed its deepest condolences following a series of attacks across Nigeria on 18 January, which left at least 35 Christians dead and a further 175 abducted.

As the Church offers prayers for the victims, their families, and those still held in captivity, it has once again voiced its outrage at the “silent and escalating carnage” of Christians globally. The statement condemns the fact that such violence, now prevalent in many nations, continues to be met with almost total international indifference.
