Establishment of the
Feast of Christian Youth

PREFACE
With all His being, God loves, defends and protects His young people (Mt 18:5), the beating heart of the Church of Christ. Mary, Mother Church, His Faithful Spouse, is and always will be for every young person the loving Mother and Mum, in whose Immaculate Heart every young person finds refuge and shelter, love and comfort (Lk 1:49).
In the New Jerusalem (Rev 21:2), Christian Youth is alive and all are called to be young at heart and in spirit, to perfume the world with the one and eternal Essence, the Essence of the Son of God, so that the world may see where holy youth is found, where holy youth becomes ever more marvellous and admirable: in the Land of Love, where the Divine Child dwells, where in His House He awaits everyone, to make all eternal children, to remain children in soul, in spirit and with all one’s heart (Mt 19:14); and to be mature in understanding the Will of God, desiring to practise it and love it (Mt 6:10).
The young people of Mother Church love Mary and are all consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart, forming the Army of Mary (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “Mary, I consecrate myself to You”, 10/03/1986).
On the last Sunday of April, the Christian Youth opens its heart to the Marian month, to praise Mary, to sing of Mary, to raise hymns to Mary, the all-beautiful, the all-pure, the Exalted One (Revelation of God the Almighty Father to Maria G. Norcia, “The Immaculate One dwells within Us”, 28/06/1983).
Mary has not been understood by this humanity, which even today dissects Her Figure, losing itself in all that is human and neglecting all that is divine (Pontifical Decree, “In Mary, with Mary and for Mary”, 22/12/2019), to the point of stifling the Spirit. Thus, on the last Sunday of April, young people devoted to Mary will prepare to experience the Holy Month of May, the month of Mary, who, with Her maternal Love, will lead everyone towards the Day of the Eternal Easter (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G.
