PONTIFICAL DECREE

Establishment of the Solemn Feast
for the opening to the public
of the “Little Cradle of the Child Jesus”

PREFACE

  1. The “Little Cradle of Baby Jesus,” requested by Heaven from Maria Giuseppina Norcia, was opened to the public for the first time on the last Sunday of August 1975, exactly on August 31.

  2. Jesus revealed to Maria Giuseppina:

    “The Cradle of Gallinaro is the greatest Sacrarium there is; it is the heart of the newborn church; it is the centre of the New Jerusalem” (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Greatest Sacrarium There Is“, 29/09/1986);

    “Hymns of Glory rise up to God. How great this Cradle becomes, so great that it contains all the Angels of Heaven, all the Saints of Paradise; so great that it contains all my people; united, all together, in a radiant light.

    Ask before my Little Cradle: Jesus, welcome me into your Cradle, because this Cradle will be Your Tabernacle;

    You do not know how big this little Chapel is! It can hold the whole world twice over.” (Revelation of G. to Maria G. Norcia, ” ‘The’ Tabernacle of Jesus” 06/19/1994).

    “The city which, at the centre of my Cradle, will have His Throne, will have the throne of its King and will extend throughout the whole earth.” (Revelation of G. to Maria G. Norcia, “The Return of Jesus”, 10/30/1994);

    “You will see this cradle become the cornerstone of my city, and all, all my sons, will sing on that day, together with the Angels of Paradise, the praises of the Father and the wonders accomplished by his beloved Son.” (Revelation of G. to Maria G. Norcia, “The Ascent to Heaven”, 04/13/1995).

  1. In order to allow the sons of God to have the fullest and most complete awareness of the heavenly plan for the “Little Cradle of Baby Jesus” and in order to solemnly give ‘thanks’ to the Lord for the gift received, I establish that, on the last Sunday of August of each year, the Feast of the opening to the public of the “Little Cradle of the Baby Jesus” shall be celebrated in a solemn manner.

I DECREE
the establishment of the Solemn Feast of the opening to the public
of the “Little Cradle of the Baby Jesus”
and I establish that it shall be celebrated on the last Sunday of August.
