Fourth Sunday of Lent

Samuele’s appeal: stop the war now,
before true destruction comes

Beloved brothers and sisters, great is my joy at being here with you today and at living this journey of ours that continues, this journey towards the Goal, just as today’s Gospel teaches us (Mk 10:32). Here is Jesus on his journey, ascending towards the Holy City.

Behold this journey, this ascent that leads us ever more to experience the Holy City (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Holy City”, 23/06/1996), the Fulfilment of the Scriptures, the Promised Land for the people of God (Ex 3:8), New Jerusalem, which is the centre of the Eucharistic Bread, where Jesus, the living Bread who came down from Heaven (Jn 6:51), bestows Peace, Joy and Love upon all His children—those children who, having recognised Him and welcomed Him into their hearts (Jn 1:12), wish to remain in communion of heart, soul and spirit with the Master.

Behold the New Jerusalem (Rev 21:2), the burning furnace of the Father’s Love, where whoever arrives may be fed for ever (Jn 6:35), and experience the Love that heals all, cures all, and conquers all (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Dwelling Established by Jesus”, 09/03/1997) .

And in this passage from the Gospel, Jesus warns His friends about the fate of the Son of Man (Mk 10:33-34). It is a passage that gives pause for thought, just as the times we are living in today give pause for thought, a time when so many are astonished by what is happening, just as we have heard in this passage from the Gospel: His friends, after this announcement that Jesus makes to them, are astonished, and those who follow behind, says the Evangelist, are filled with fear (Mark 10:32). How can we not think of today’s world, which is astonished by everything it hears and sees, and where so many are seized by fear, by a growing fear of everything that is happening?

And all this is the result of a diabolical action of the antichrist spirit (1 Jn 4:3) which is setting man against man, people against people, nation against nation (Mt 24:7), in an escalation that seems to have no end. Thus, everyone is caught up in a spiral of hatred that is growing rather than diminishing.

And there are those who are driven by boundless pride, with an ego that knows no bounds, with a desire to gain the upper hand over others (James 4:1-2). There are those who, as unbelievers, are driven by a diabolical, unholy spirit. And there are those who, as atheists, without God, driven solely by a thirst for power and domination, are also taking action. And all these three situations combined lead to a hatred that is ever-increasing and to a war that is growing, because hatred begets hatred and war begets war. And faced with this scenario, the world is defenceless, stunned, seemingly unable to react.

That is why today, from here—deliberately from here, from this land which is closest to these scenes of war—I wish to make the Voice of this Church heard, so that this final, heartfelt appeal I wish to make may be heard at least by Christians, at least by those who call themselves ‘Christians’, at least by those who wish to live by Christ and His teachings. In the name of Christ the Lord, King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev 19:16), stop the war now, before you can never stop it again, for then it will be too late!

This is my final and heartfelt appeal to all rulers and leaders of the nations who call themselves “Christians”: in the name of Jesus Christ, King of kings, Lord of lords, stop the war now before it’s too late, because then there will be no turning back, then there will be true destruction!

As Jesus said to His Maiden, His successors have not always been worthy heirs of the Son of God (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Return of Jesus”, 30/10/1994), of Saint Peter, true examples of holiness, but have succeeded one another, becoming subservient to a worldly logic, to a rampant apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2:3), without keeping the faith firm in their hearts. They have profaned Holiness, watered down the true Doctrine of the Master. Few were those who, even in the face of bodily ailments and physical suffering, embraced and defended the one Instrument that leads to Salvation, the intimate and profound, visible and holy Cross (Gal 6:14), so that the Life of Christ might be made manifest in their actions (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “To die in order to live, to lose in order to gain”, 24/03/1985).

All these actions were stifled by human complacency, by those who, in the shadows, plotted to unsettle and draw everyone into a purely human and humanising direction, so as to forget the Spirit (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Holy Spirit”, 13/09/1984). But as it is written in the Apocalypse, in the Book of Revelation, she who has apostatised, she who from “mother” has become “stepmother” and harlot (Rev 17:1–5), who sits upon the throne and says: “I am not a widow, I shall not see mourning” (Rev 18:7), who lies with human power, shall be trampled underfoot. The hills upon which she sits shall be brought low, levelled, and her allure shall be her downfall (Rev 18:8-10).

But in this scenario, the children of God lift their eyes to Heaven and look to the Master and His promise, on the third day, just as it is written in this page of the Gospel: “But on the third day he will rise again” (Mk 10:34). This is the promise to which the children of God wish to look and remain faithful, so as not to be overcome by fear and despondency (Rom 8:37), but to be able to stand firm, even more firmly in the faith (1 Cor 16:13), and to live with joy ‘on the third day’, in the expectation that ‘ the third day’ is fulfilled, for ‘on the third day’ the world will be terrified (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, ‘The Eternal Privileged Altar for the Hypostatic Union’, 30 June 1985) and the children of God will sing praise to Him who is King (Rev 15:3–4).

This is the final Proclamation of the Son of God. This is what we experience in the Promised Land, in the New Jerusalem (Rev 21:1-4), where Jesus has returned, as He promised, to fulfil every promise (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Holy Place of Jesus’ Return”, 19 February 1995) . He said: “When the Son of Man returns, will he find faith on earth?” (Lk 18:8).

Today the Son of Man has returned, but faith is found in few. A Small Remnant has remained faithful (Rom 11:5) and thanks to those few, God will bring the Son’s promise to fulfilment.

Behold, in the New Jerusalem, at the Little Cradle of the Child Jesus, there is the last outpost of the true Faith, of the Christian Faith (Act of Magisterium, “The Christian Faith”, 27/10/2024): New Jerusalem, Holy Mountain, where the Father has granted, grants and will grant His children eternal Salvation, eternal Joy, eternal Love.

Beloved brothers and sisters, let us remain anchored to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Let us consecrate every day of our lives to Her Immaculate Heart and we shall have nothing to fear (Act of Magisterium, “Consecrating oneself to Mary is a necessary act”, 14/10/2024). Let us pray with faith to the Seven Archangels whom Mother Church is currently proclaiming and inviting us to pray to: the Archangel Michael, the Archangel Gabriel, the Archangel Raphael, the Archangel Uriel, the Archangel Sealtiel, the Archangel Geudiel and the Archangel Barachiel (Pontifical Decree, “Establishment of the Feast of the Seven Archangels”, 28/09/2025); that they may go forth and triumph, and give substance and fulfilment to the Father’s Work.

This is the prayer we must raise with all our hearts to Heaven, so that Angels and Archangels, at God’s command, may go forth and triumph, so that the Truth may be proclaimed and the peoples who wish to remain anchored in the one Faith that saves, the Christian and Universal Faith (Act of the Magisterium, “One is the Message, One is the Mandate, One is the Mission upon which the militant and triumphant Church of Christ rests”, 27/02/2025), may be guided towards the Little Cradle of the Child Jesus, where the Child of God has come down and awaits everyone, to love and help all, those ‘all’ who wish to be helped, those ‘all’ who wish to be loved, so that Jesus may be proclaimed as the one and only Saviour of the world (Acts 4:12), so as to ward off a rampant apostasy which now teaches that all religions lead to God.

There is one Way that leads to God, and it is called Jesus! There is one Truth, absolute and never relative, which leads to the Father, and it is called Jesus! There is one Life, the eternal Life to which we are all called, and it is called Jesus (John 14:6)!

This is the authentic Christian Faith that this Church will never compromise and will always proclaim, in that ‘One for all and all for One’ which stands out on this vault, so that all may be grafted into that One who gives Life (Jn 15:5), into Him who is Life, the Tree of true Life (Rev 22:2). And so be it.
