We consecrate ourselves to Your Heart
to live in Communion with You

Solemn Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
Meditation of the Day by Pontiff Samuel
(Draft)
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Beloved brothers and sisters, today, let us renew our consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. “Heart of Jesus, our only hope” is the cry of the sons of God: that hope that here, in the Land of Love, has become for many ‘the’ certainty, the only certainty worth living for, offering everything to the Lord every day.
The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is intrinsically linked to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Two Hearts fused into the only-begotten Heart, which gives Life.
“Heart of Mary, our only refuge! O Jesus, I love You with the heart of Mary, Your Mother. I adore You with the profound adorations of Your beloved Mother”.
We entrust and consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the living Temple of the Holy Spirit, that we may love Jesus as She loves Him, and adore Him as She deeply adores Him.
Mary is the safe refuge for the sons of God. Mary perfects every imperfect prayer and act of adoration, helping us to adore Her Son more perfectly, so that by adoring the Son we may adore the Father, and by adoring the Holy Spirit, the substantial Love of the Father and of the Son, we may love our neighbour as ourselves.
Behold the Heart of Jesus manifesting the Love made flesh. That Heart given so that many may have Life for eternity.
Today, let us offer our lives to Jesus once again. Let us all consecrate ourselves to His Most Sacred Heart. Let us offer Him our every suffering, every illness, every melancholy of body and soul, so that, through the intercession of Mary, the Heart of Jesus may heal the body and soul of those who entrust themselves to Him with all their heart, in living communion, from Heart to heart.
“So I beg You, by the Father’s Power, save me! By Your Knowledge, purify me! And by the love of the Holy Spirit, make my heart always burn with Divine Love!”. And so be it.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
