ACT OF MAGISTERIUM

Presentation of Mary in the Temple

Draft

  1. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. She who is the Temple (Lk 1:49) of the Spirit of God (Lk 1:28), when the time of the promise (Lk 1:26) had come, was first presented and offered at the temple in Jerusalem, in anticipation of her begetting – by the action of the Holy Spirit (Lk 1:35) – the Savior, who was born, died, rose again and ascended to Heaven, thus opening the Gates of Paradise, so that many might have Life and have it plentifully (Jn 10:10).

  2. Mary, the New Jerusalem (Rev 21:2), in this time of the fulfilment of the final promise (Is 7:14), welcomes once again into her Heart the One who (Rev 12:1-2) has returned (Acts 1:11) as He promised, descending from Heaven to dwell in Her (Jn 14:17) who made her pure Heart into the Temple, to welcome the Child Jesus.

  3. Presented then to the One who became flesh in time (Jn 1:14), She lived praying and loving, welcoming the Bridegroom once again (Is 62:4; Ct 4:8-12) in order to generate Love (Jn 13:35) in all hearts, saying: “Do with me as you please: May Your Will be done.” In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
