DICASTERY OF MERCY AND JUSTICE

To all the Ministers

To all the faithful

To all men and women of goodwill

Subject: Celebrations and recommendations on Covid-19 (Coronavirus) emergency

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ and Mary,

to face the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) emergency, now officially classified as a “pandemic”, the Universal Christian Church of New Jerusalem considers it necessary to intensify, now even more, prayers and moments of spirituality, in order to provide the necessary spiritual sustenance to all her faithful and to all the men and women of good will, by invoking with fervour the living Mercy of God the Almighty Father, the Good and Holy, Merciful and Just Father.

For the benefit of the health of the soul and body of her faithful, the Church wishes to provide the following indications:

1. To protect the health of the soul

Live this particular time in the union of heart, soul and spirit with God, One and Triune, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the only Saviour and Redeemer of the world, and with Mary Most Holy, Immaculate of the Holy Spirit and Universal Coredemptrix, by participating, spiritually – and not physically -, with assiduous frequenting to:

    1. the Liturgical Celebrations, celebrated at the Shrine of the Divine Mercy, for the benefit of all the faithful of the Church;

    2. the recitation of the Holy Rosary and to the moments of adoration inside the Tabernacle of the Little Cradle of Baby Jesus.

The celebrations and the recitation of the Holy Rosary will be broadcasted in live streaming on social media and the official website of the Church www.nuovagerusalemme.it where the faithful will find all the relevant information.

2. To protect the health of the body

Follow the behavioural provisions issued by the governmental authorities, having care to scrupulously comply with prevention and human safeguard, so to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 as far as possible.

Trusting in God the Almighty Father and in the collaboration of everyone, we remain united in Christ and Mary.
