“Condolence and Prayer for the Attack

against Christians in Congo”

The Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem expresses its condolences and closeness in prayer for the Christian victims of the brutal attack suffered in recent days in Congo.

The Church joins in prayer to the families of the victims and to all Christians attacked for their faith. No religious belief can silently tolerate the barbarity of those who in the name of a god kill and kill themselves.

In strongly condemning the terrorist attack in Congo, the Church appeals to the world’s institutions to guarantee freedom of worship to all believers and to protect Christians discriminated against and massacred in too many nations of the world.
