Meditation of the Day by Pontiff Samuel

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Dear brothers, we are here today together again, from heart to heart, in this living and profound communion of Love, to continue on the journey of holiness that leads us to the Heart of the Father, who manifests Himself in the Son. We undertook this journey taking Mary’s hand and, in Mary, with Mary and for Mary, we now want to continue, so we may all achieve victory, so that Life may overcome evil and death may be subjugated to the King of Life.
Today, once again, we entrust ourselves to Mary, who is celebrated by the Church on this day dedicated to Her: “Mary, Consoler of the Afflicted”. This ancient feast day is always contemporary in the hearts of the sons who love their Mother. Mary is indeed the Holy Mother who never abandons Her sons in the time of trial. Mary is the caring Mother who will always come to our aid when we lovingly call upon Her and invoke Her holy help. Mary is the Holy Mother who comforts the hearts of Her afflicted sons burdened by the heavy yoke of this world that is perverse and sick, iniquitous and unfair, and that elevates the powerful and abuses the little and innocent ones.
Here is the Immaculate Heart of Mary once again joining the Most Sacred Heart of Christ, who also today calls us to Himself saying: “Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light“.
Our Lord Jesus calls us and we, His sons, respond as one heart with the words of the prayer revealed by the Most High to Maria Giuseppina: “Heart of Jesus, our only hope. Heart of Mary our only refuge. O Jesus, I love You with the heart of Mary, Your mother; I adore You with the profound adorations of Your beloved Mother. I console You with the Heart of Mary. So I beg You: by the Father’s Power, save me. By Your Knowledge, purify me. And by the love of the Holy Spirit, make my heart always be enflamed with Divine Love“.
Today, brothers, let us remain once again united to the Heart of Mary, Consoler of the afflicted, so to live and remain in communion of heart, of soul and spirit with the Heart of Jesus, feeding on His Bread and His Wine, which is substantial love, so to bring it to everyone, as ardent witnesses of the Truth and torches of His infinite Love who is Person.
Mary, Gate of Heaven, Shield of the Father’s Heart, raises us to ascend towards the heights of the Mountain of God, who has lowered Himself to land on this Corner of the Earth and form the New Jerusalem, so awaited and prophesied, a metaphysical Reality where His sons can experience the living and tangible Love of the Father, who has established in this Place His Kingdom of Peace and Love, of Mercy and Goodness for all who wish to recognise themselves as sons in the Son, sent by the Father to save this barren and bewildered humanity, which has undertaken the path of no return, made of hatred and violence, which man will no longer be able to stop because his heart has hardened and strayed from the Law of the Father, who is Love, who is Life.
“People of God, move forward, with courage and holiness, holding tightly to the hand of Mary, who will wipe away every tear of all those who are now afflicted and will turn every suffering into joy, every tear into a holy pearl to be offered to the Father as a pleasing gift to Him“. No more mourning, no more suffering, no more breathlessness. Anyone who takes refuge in the Heart of Mary, finds and will find rest and refreshment, to continue on the journey of Life, to dwell in Christ, with Christ and for Christ for eternity. And so be it. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
