To ascend means to rise, to rise means to win,
in Christ and in Mary

Thursday of the Ascension
Meditation of the Day by Pontiff Samuel

(Draft)

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Dear brothers, to ascend means to rise. To rise means to win. After His Victory over death, Jesus ascended to Heaven to widely open the Gates of Paradise to His faithful sons and to bestow upon them the reward for all the good they have done, using His infinite Mercy as the standard of judgment: a holy and just Mercy, which grants Salvation not as a gift but as “the” reward for those who have fought the good fight of faith, striving to live as saints in order to bring Christ to everyone, the Man-God sent by the Father, He who alone can give salvation to humankind. Having died for the righteous and the unrighteous, Christ gave His Life for the salvation of all those who acknowledge Him as God and Master, the Only Begotten Lord, and in turn want to die to the world and to sin in order to become as He is: many little Jesuses; and to bring to everyone the only Name in which there is Salvation: God saves is His Name.

Without Jesus there is no salvation. Those who teach that we are «all brothers» in the name of a universal brotherhood, are deceiving us: Christ and Christ alone brings us all up to Heaven, as He ascended to Heaven to be where He belongs: at the right hand of the Father, to judge the living and the dead.

The living: those who welcomed and acknowledged Him in the New Jerusalem, in His final Coming to this world, as He promised; and for this reason, they want to live as dead to the world and to sin in order to live – already from now – as beings resurrected in this world, in the Kingdom established by Jesus in the New Jerusalem.

The dead: all those who, although having known this Mystery of Love, have blasphemed, condemned, and despised it; all those who have made themselves gods in order to oppose the Action and Thought of God the Almighty Father. Behold the Holy Spirit, who manifests the Action and the Thought of the Father. Those who blaspheme Him will not only fail to ascend to Heaven and enter Paradise but will instead descend to the place where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Behold the celebration in Heaven and on Earth. A joyous celebration, a holy celebration, a solemn celebration. As Jesus ascended to Heaven, He already saw the unfolding of future history. And so He saw Himself as a Child in a Grotto different from the one that welcomed Him at His first Coming, in Bethlehem; He saw – playing in a meadow – a young Maiden who loved Him as His Mother did;  He saw many sons coming to this Cradle where the Father has placed His Throne, to welcome all those drawn by the Spirit, throughout time and betimes, to be immersed in this spiritual Font, a Baptism Source for all souls, to be reborn from Above, in the Spirit, and to thus be able to inherit the Kingdom that is Life, eternal Life.

Here is the Heart of the Father Who manifests Himself to those who have come, have seen and believed in the wonders of the Lord.

May today be a day of celebration in Heaven and on Earth. May today be a prelude to the Feast of feasts, the Fulfilment of fulfilments, when Jesus will fully reveal Himself in His Glory and all peoples will acknowledge Him, seeing in His Face the Face of the Father.

Praise be to You, Jesus, and praise be to You, Mary, for having given us this Blessed Land, Source of Peace, Mercy and Forgiveness. Come and drink from the Source of the Water of Life, you who are thirsty. Come and celebrate, sons of God, because Jesus has returned here, as He promised, to await and nourish every son who invokes His Name with a sincere heart. Break free from the chains and bonds of death that others would impose as a heavy yoke on the lives of God’s sons. Come out of Babylon so to not be associated with her sins and suffer the consequences of God’s Wrath hanging over the Harlot.

Be holy, sons of God, so to ascend in fullness, with heart and spirit, uniting yourselves to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so to live the Kingdom and continue to celebrate, because here in the New Jerusalem, the feast is endless, the feast is alive, continuous, and vibrant. And so be it.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
