Feast of the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven

Gospel: Mark 16,15-20

Homily of the Pontiff Samuel

(Draft)

Today we live the feast of the Ascension: the Ascension of Jesus to Heaven.

Jesus’ Ascension to Heaven is a great feast for all Christians and, in the light of the revelations made by Jesus to His Maiden, Maria Giuseppina Norcia, we know that Heaven rejoiced in a special way for this Ascension, “the first most beautiful feast”, just as the Assumption of His Mother is an even more beautiful feast, while waiting for the third and definitive feast that will be the return of the Lord in all His glory. But this feast must be understood on the basis of the Holy Scriptures and of the living action of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, after His resurrection, appears several times to His disciples and remains with them for forty days. Then He ascends to Heaven. The evangelist Luke, in his Gospel, mentions this moment (Lk 24:51), which he later describes better in his other book, the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 1:6-11). Immediately before the Ascension, the disciples ask Jesus: “«Lord, has the time come for you to restore the kingdom to Israel?» But He replied: «It is not for you to know times or dates that the Father has decided»” (Acts 1:6-7).

Therefore, the first Apostles of Jesus had another task, that was not related to the end of times, in which the Spirit of the Lord would have rebuilt the Kingdom of Israel, thus bringing to completion the spiritual renovation of God’s Kingdom, started with His resurrection. Jesus then tells them: «you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will come on you, and then you will be my witnesses not only in Jerusalem but throughout Judaea and Samaria, and indeed to earth’s remotest end» (Acts 1:8). Those first Apostles, founders of the first Christian Church, by the power of the Holy Spirit, would have been His witnesses in “Jerusalem” and “up to the ends of earth”, to earth’s remotest end. And this is what happened; this was done. But it was not for them to know the times and moments that the Father had reserved for others, at the end of times. In fact, the Father has wanted to preserve this revelation for Himself and for those who, by the power of the Holy Spirit, would have helped Him at the end of times. Here is the revelation of the “New Jerusalem” (Rev 21:2-3). Here is the revelation of Jesus to His Maiden. Here is the Call of the new disciples of Jesus, that the Father, through the living action of the Spirit of the Risen Christ, has called in these times, establishing His new Church, this Church, called to restore and renew the New Covenant, renewed in the Spirit of Christ and of His faithful sons.

“As He said this He was lifted up while they looked on, and a cloud took Him from their sight” (Acts 1:9), it is also written in the Acts of the Apostles. Then, the final revelation: “This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him go to heaven” (Acts 1:11b). Therefore, just as Jesus had already revealed to them, announcing in the Gospel the return of the Son of Man in the clouds (Mk 13:26), so in the Acts of the Apostles, “two men in white robes” (Acts 1:10) confirm to the disciples the way in which the Lord would have returned. From the revelation that Jesus made to His Maiden, we know that the return of the Lord is an “itinerary”. Remembering the words, that we have often heard and that we will always hear, in that “message of the Lord’s return”, which Jesus Himself gave. Well, this itinerary began on 13 June 1947, when the Son of Man returned in the clouds, in the semblance of a Child, manifesting Himself to the Maiden chosen by God for this accomplishment, Maria Giuseppina, to begin the great Mystery of the New Jerusalem, Mystery of Love wanted by the Father for the salvation of this humanity.

The spiritual journey that would have brought the Mystery of salvation to accomplishment has started on that 13 June. This is the time of the renovation of the Kingdom of Israel to which the first disciples of Jesus referred to (Acts 1:6), in the moment preceding His Ascension. This is the time when the small remnant of the People of Israel (Isa 11:11.16; 37:4.32; Jer 23:3-6; 31:7; 50:20; Eze 20:37; Mic 2:12-13; Zep 3:11-13, Zec 8:3-12; Rm 11:1-10), gathered by the Father on this holy Mountain (Isa 56:7a; 65:25; Ps 15:1; 43:3; Jl 4:17, Zec 8:3), is manifested to the world, for the total comprehension of the Project of salvation wanted by the Father, which will bring God’s Son to the victory: this victory that will be lived by the hearts of His sons and of those animated by goodwill, that will always defend the authentic Christian faith.

This is the Truth that Jesus has revealed and confirmed to His Maiden.

Until man does not have the humility to accept, with his heart, the revelations of Heaven, without wanting to measure the things of God with the yardstick of the world, nothing can be understood. Those who truly want to understand the fulfilment of the Father’s Project must open their hearts to the action of the Spirit of God who, now as then, blows in the world and penetrates the hearts of all those who yearn to receive His Wisdom, His Science, so to be purified in their minds and in their hearts, so to be guided to fully understand the Plan of Love and Redemption wanted by the Father for this humanity.

Only in this way we can, right from now, ascend to Heaven, in spirit and heart, following the Spirit of the Master, following the example of the saints of Christendom and of those who have preceded us in this time. God’s Maiden is a shining example of holiness for each of us. She has been visited by the Spirit of the Father, so to live and make everyone live the great fulfilment of salvation. After that first manifestation, which took place on 13 June 1947, there was the great revelation of 15 May 1974, in which for the first time, Mary, with Jesus and St. Michael the Archangel, revealed Herself to this Maiden. The Feast of 15 May is thus the Feast of when Mary appeared for the first time in this Land of Love: Mary of the New Jerusalem, which we will honour next Tuesday.

Even the day of 13 May, is a day of grace for this Place. In fact, on 13 May 1974, that same year, the Maiden of God met St. Mesia, a Roman martyr lived at the time of the persecution of the first Christians, who revealed herself to Maria Giuseppina two days before that 15 May, day of the great revelation of Jesus, Mary and St. Michael the Archangel. St. Mesia plays an important role in this Mystery. And for the Father’s will, she has been united from heart to heart to Maria Giuseppina. And in Her Name, this Mystery is.

Today, 13 May, is also the anniversary of the revelation of the Virgin Mary at Fatima, a hundred and one years ago. In 1917 the Blessed Virgin manifested Herself at Fatima to the three shepherd children Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia, so that the world and the Church would turn away from sin and return to live the good, the one and only supreme Good: God. But even then, the appeal of Mary remained unheard. Despite the signs given by the Father, men did not want to totally divulge the warnings of the Blessed Virgin, causing Her appeal to fall on deaf ears. This is what has happened. In the last century, many have been the appeals and warnings of the Virgin Mary that have been concealed, forgotten and made forget by the hands of those who for first should have had to make penance and return to live God and bring the whole world to live God.

Paul VI in 1972 resoundingly denounced that the smoke of satan had entered the Vatican. The pontificate of John Paul I ended after only thirty-three days in obscure circumstances. John Paul II fought with all his might “the filth” within the Church of Rome, leaving to everyone the words of denunciation (that word was pronounced firmly, by the one who proclaimed those meditations, Cardinal Ratzinger, in the last Via Crucis, in 2005, of John Paul II). And so Benedict XVI himself did at the beginning of his pontificate, and then subsequently announced his renunciation on 11 February 2013. From Heaven, that day the thunderbolt of God’s wrath fell on the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica and before long the underworld would have prevailed in the hearts of many men at the top of the church of Rome. The Holy Spirit has been betrayed. And the Father has withdrawn His Spirit from that reality.

Without the real presence of the Holy Spirit, everything is rapidly falling. The abomination of desolation is ever more evident. All what had been prophesied by the Holy Virgin now is. The Gospel and the teachings of Christ are trampled and subverted. The teaching we heard today in the Gospel of Mark (Mk 15:15-20), which has just been proclaimed, is a clear example of all this. Jesus has commanded to preach the Gospel to all peoples, so that whoever believes and will be baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will not be saved: he will be condemned (Mk 16:16). This is written in the Gospel. In Rome, however, it is taught to do the opposite, saying that proselytism is a solemn nonsense; proselytism is a big sin. But in the Gospel, proselytism is a commandment of Jesus. And in Rome it has also been said that all are sons of God. So then I ask myself: what is the sense of baptism, if all are sons of God and therefore being Christians or Jews or Muslims or Buddhists or Hindus is, more or less, the same thing? And it has also been said that the Covenant with the Jewish people has never been revoked, while we know that the Covenant that the Father establishes from time to time with His people is only one. There cannot be more alliances at the same time. And it has also been said that: hell does not exist; a Catholic God does not exist; Christ is no longer the absolute Truth; Jesus on the cross made himself the “devil”, “serpent”, “so ugly to disgust” – I textually quote; “the Way of the Cross is the history of God’s failure”; the Virgin Mary at the foot of the Cross would have felt deceived by God the Father. The list of blasphemies is long and may continue.

Now I ask myself and you all: what more are we to see and hear before understanding that these teachings are anti-Christian? How can one remain silent in front of all this? What more are we to hear before understanding all what the Holy Virgin has revealed? All what She has revealed is taking place: namely the Great Apostasy of the Church of Rome, for time and in good time announced, is there for all to see. As so many belonging to the Church of Rome are denouncing. You have surely heard in these days the strong and grave denunciation of the Cardinal Primate of the Church of Rome in Holland, who has denounced what is happening. Strong words; I quote them: “Observing that the bishops and, above all, the Successor of Peter fail to maintain and transmit faithfully and in unity the deposit of faith contained in Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture, I cannot help but think of Article 675 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church: «The Church’s ultimate trial

Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the ‘mystery of iniquity’ in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth». (Willem Jacobus Cardinal Eijk, Archbishop of Utrecht, 5 May 2018)”.

Textual words, through which we see more and more cardinals against cardinals, bishops against bishops, priests against priests, brothers against brothers, sisters against sisters, just as it had been foretold. And unity, as denounced by those strong words, is no longer there.

Here is that the Father, betimes and over time, has prepared the path of salvation for humanity in this Land of Love. The Father does not deprive men of freedom but in front of their deliberate will to destroy what belongs to Him, the Father intervenes in history to defend His sons, but not as man thinks God should do but in the way He has decided to do, in His Omnipotence and His Omniscience.

In these hard and difficult times for Christianity, the true sons of God entrust themselves again to Mary, the Good and Tender Mother, the Queen of Heaven and Earth, the universal Mother, to renew once again the consecration of their life to Her Immaculate Heart.

All those who want, right from now, to live Heaven, to ascend to Heaven in spirit and heart, are to come here, in this Land of Love, to enjoy right from now the delights that the Father has given to all His sons in this Mother Land, where milk and honey flow, where the Spirit of the Risen Christ is alive, where the Spirit of Mary awaits Her sons, so that they may be cared and refreshed with Her balm of Love and be cradled, like a child (Ps 131:2), in the tender arms of Her, the Faithful Mother. Mary, Mother Church, I consecrate myself to You now and always. And so be it.
