ACT OF MAGISTERIUM
“Do you love Me?”
Love yourself; love your neighbour
and love God above all things
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Saint Peter is the head of the Church of Christ (Mt 16,18) and son of Christ. Saint Peter is the son of the King and of His Kingship. Peter deemed himself to be nothing but the humble servant of Christ, who gathers everyone into His Heart (Col 3,11).
Now as it was in the past, Christ gives the orders, and St. Peter, his humble servant and the head of the triumphant Church, acts, as he did during the time granted to him on earth. And now, in eternity, Peter and those first Friends offer themselves completely once more, so that the primacy of Christ may triumph (Col. 1,18), once and for all.
This is the living faithfulness of St. Peter in service to Christ, in service to the Son of God, for this is the essence of the ministry bestowed upon him by the Son of God (1Pt 4,17-19).
The ministry is nothing unless it is grounded and fused in the Rock that is Christ (Mt 21,42), with the Rock that is Christ (Eph 2,20), with the only Heart that is Christ. This is the ministry: serving Christ, serving our brothers, dying to our ‘self’ and putting His Holy Name at the centre (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “The Catechesis”, Jan. 01, 1988).
In time and throughout time the first Friends of Jesus, the Apostles, have been called to do the Will of Christ, to put His Words into practice, to give concreteness to the effects of His Word (Luke 5,10).
Thus, the Apostles let themselves be moulded and used as mere instruments so that Christ could be in them (Gal 2,20).
This is the essence of the sons of God, of those who stand out because of their love, and nothing else. Love is Jubilation (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “Joy albeit in suffering”, Jan 1, 1989), Love is Life (1Jn 3,16), Love is God (1Jn 4,8); and Love is the Master, who teaches us how to live and be, so that others may be too.
Behold the living Flame that burns and now manifests itself more and more in the Little Cradle of Baby Jesus, the Tabernacle of the Living God (Revelation of Jesus to Maria G. Norcia, “ ‘The’ Tabernacle of Jesus”, June 19, 1994).
Peter and his friends and brothers pressed forward in the face of their enemies and never retreated (Acts 4,18-20). While others fled, they pushed on, to proclaim the Word of God. And with God’s Strength they won: not a single winner, but together, winners in the one Victory which is that of Christ, the Victorious, the Redeemer, He who defeated and defeats death (1Pt 1,20-21).
The actual living dead are those who believe that they can wage war against God and His Holy Spirit, and win. They are already dead, because they lack the Only Begotten Love (Rev. 21,8).
Peter, the humble servant of Christ, has always proclaimed and will always proclaim His Holy Name. And with His Church, He presses forward to win and raise the Banner, the Banner which will lead many to embark on the Journey of Life (Jn 14,6).
In those days, St. Peter set off from Rome, leaving his homeland behind, so that Rome might become the centre of Christianity, so that Christ might be on everyone’s lips, for to speak His Name meant to be saved (Acts 4,12).
Now, from this Holy Mountain (Jn 4,21-23), once again Peter proclaims the Name of Christ, King and Lord (Rev 17,14), because in Christ, in Christ alone, there is Salvation, and because in Christ, the Sign of God’s Justice, all will be fulfilled.
At that time, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee (Jn 21,1), Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?”.
The triple question Jesus posed to Peter at that time was not just for him but for all those who would come later (1Pt 1,22).
The first question meant “to love oneself” (Jn 21,15); The second meant “to love our neighbour” (Jn 21,16); then, finally, “to love God above everything else” (Jn 21,17).
Everything converges in the one Love. What Jesus asked then to Peter is what the Master now asks to each of us: to love one another (Jn 13,34), to love Christ and to love the one and only Father, the eternal Father.
To be “one heart and one soul” (Acts 4,32). This was what Peter repeated to his brothers, gathered in community. And this must now be the Church, re-founded in Mary the Community.
Mary will always show Her sons the way, the more they will be able to be docile to Her call, to completely fulfil the Will of the Triune God (Lk 1,54).
Love Mary every day to love Jesus more and more. This is what St Peter experienced, he who, with his humble love, never surrendered, and brought his mission to fulfilment at that time, and now – from Heaven – his humble love converges in this Church (Act of Magisterium, “One is the message, One is the mandate, and One is the Mission that forms the bedrock of the militant and triumphant church of Christ”, Feb. 27, 2025), so that together we may reach “the” Fulfilment of all fulfilments: to let the Heart of He Who created everything, He Who is Life, win and triumph (1 Jn 1,2). In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
