History
The Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem traces its roots back to Maria Giuseppina Norcia, the Woman chosen by God to fulfil the Father’s plan of salvation for humanity.
She was born on 21 January 1940.
On 13 June 1947, when She was seven years old, the Child Jesus appeared for the first time to Her, descending from Heaven on a white cloud. The Maiden of God welcomed the Child Jesus into Her heart.
On 15 May 1974, at a time of great trial and suffering for Maria Giuseppina due to Her incurable illness, She proclaimed Her ‘yes’ to the Will of God. Jesus, the Virgin Mary and St Michael the Archangel appeared to Her and spoke to Her for a long time. At one point, Jesus asked Her: ‘Will you help Me in a great mission of salvation?’ Despite being mortally ill, Maria Giuseppina declares Her ‘yes’.
Four days later, on 19 May 1974, Jesus appeared to Her again, this time accompanied by the Virgin Mary and Saint Mesia Elia, a Roman martyr. Jesus healed Her from Her terminal illness, operating Her with His own hands, with the Virgin Mary and Saint Mesia at His side.
The ‘Little Cradle of the Baby Jesus’ was erected in 1975 at the behest of the Father, who opened the doors of his Heart to the world on 31 August of that year. Maria Giuseppina grew up with deep faith in Jesus, who appeared to Her and spoke to Her many, many times. Some of the heavenly revelations received by Maria Giuseppina are reported on the Church’s official website.
In particular, Jesus announced His return, in the Land of Gallinaro, which He called ‘The New Jerusalem,’ thus fulfilling the Revelation described in the Book of Apocalypse. In the New Jerusalem, Jesus has established His dwelling place among men to lead His sons to salvation, constituting His New Church and stipulating with It His New and eternal Covenant, renewed in Christ and Mary.
On 4 October 2015, the Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem, eternally present in the Mind of the Father, was established on Earth as the Mystical Body of Christ, the Courtyard of the Universal Church over which the underworld will never prevail, because it is founded on the one Rock, Christ, who descended to the New Jerusalem to preserve the purity of the authentic faith and to lead the sons of God and all men of goodwill to Salvation.

The Universal Christian Church of the New Jerusalem is “Christocentric”, because it places the faith in Christ at the centre. At the same time, it proclaims Mary as Coredemptrix, She who, alongside the Son of God, has the power to save.
Dogmas of Faith
(The term “dogma” refers to a truth of faith taught by the Church as revealed by God)
God is One and Triune. God is Father, God is Son, God is Holy Spirit. God is One and at the same time Three: one Entity, a Trinity of Persons;
God the Father is the First Person of the Holy Trinity. God the Father is the Creator of all the visible and invisible things; He is the Source of Life. God the Father is Love, the only Love, the Love that moves everything. God the Father is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent.
Jesus Christ is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. Jesus is the Son of the Living God, the Love made flesh, the Only Begotten Son of God, true man and true God; He is part of the Father’s Heart; He is the only Saviour of the world. Jesus is fully man and simultaneously fully God. He is God – by His nature (being part of the Father’s Heart) – and He took on human flesh (by being born from the Virgin Mary) setting the example for us all on how to live as true men on this Earth.
The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the substantial Love of the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit manifests the Thought and the Will of the Father and proceeds from the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of the Father, of the Son, and of the Spouse of the Most Holy Mother. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Love, He is illuminating Fire, He is Fire that guides the souls and helps them in their ascent to Heaven. The Holy Spirit is the Holiness personified, therefore He sanctifies those who are worthy of His gifts.
Mary is the Daughter, Bride and Mother of God; ever Virgin; Immaculate through the work of the Holy Spirit; Assumed into Heaven, Queen of Heaven and Earth; Universal Coredemptrix.
Mary is the Daughter of God the Almighty Father; Mary is the Bride of the Holy Spirit, who in union with Mary begot Christ; Mary is the Mother of Christ, having begotten Him by the Holy Spirit;
Mary is spiritually and physically ever Virgin, having given birth to Jesus in union with the Holy Spirit;
Mary is the Immaculate Conception, the Immaculate of the Holy Spirit, the Immaculate of living Faithfulness, having been conceived by the Father in His Mind before time was, before sin entered the world, thus preserving Her from the stain of original sin (every human being is born with the stain of the original sin of Adam and Eve, which is cleansed by Baptism; Mary was born without stain);
After Her earthly life, Mary was assumed, elevated, into Heaven in body and soul and God the Father crowned Her as Queen of Heaven and Earth, of the Angels and Saints of Heaven, and She is the head of the heavenly army.Jesus is the King, the Saviour; Mary is the Queen, the Saviour, the Coredemptrix, She who, united with Jesus, saves humanity.
Fundamental Laws
For every Christian, the fundamental law is the Commandment of Love taught by Jesus: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart’ and ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’. These two commandments are as one and summarise the Ten Commandments (Decalogue) that God the Father gave to Moses.

Remember to keep holy the Lord’s day
Honour your father and your mother
You shall not kill
You shall not commit adultery
You shall not steal
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour
You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife
